For building access, the kit provides approximately 24 inches of both open riser and closed riser staircase styles. Matching wood stair railings are included to cleanly finish your custom-built platforms and facility entryways. Continuous 24-inch strips of both wood and steel ladder stocks allow modelers to cut custom lengths for tall industrial backdrops. The kit also features specialized individual details, including four pairs of steel ladder loop tops for roof transitions. Maintenance scenes can be enhanced using the two-piece, 10-foot A-frame step ladders included in the box. Standard round-rung and slat-rung wood ladders are also provided to add vintage character to older trackside facilities.
